Cevahir Tekcan, M.D.
In 1998, I started my residency in Biochemistry at Istanbul University, Istanbul Faculty of Medicine, and completed my specialization in Biochemistry in 2002. Right after that, I began my specialization training in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Istanbul SSK Göztepe Hospital. I became a specialist in obstetrics and gynecology in 2006.
Between 2006 and 2008, I served as a specialist in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Şırnak State Hospital. In 2008, I returned to Istanbul and started working at Private Koşuyolu Medipol Hospital.
In 2014, I continued my profession at Ulus Liv Hospital.
I have book chapters, articles, and conference presentations published both nationally and internationally in the field of gynecology and obstetrics. I hold certifications from the Turkish Perinatology Association (NT certification), Turkish Oncology Association (Colposcopy certification), Uludağ University for Hysteroscopy and Gynecological Laparoscopy course, and European Institute of Telesurgery (IRCAD) for the laparoscopic minimally invasive practical course.
My special interests include minimal invasive surgery (laparoscopy, hysteroscopy) and vaginal surgeries.
